The Wedding of Heidi & Naoya - Alnwick castle

Here are some of the images from Heidi & Naoya's wedding which was held at Alnwick castle. The day started with the bridal preparations at Heidi's parents house in Low Hauxley. I then travelled on to meet up with Naoya & the boys at Blackmores in Alnwick.

The flowers & origami table decorations were exquisitely arranged by Naoya's family, with the entrance making a fantastic focal point. The cake..........or should I say cheese, was outstanding. I don't think I have ever seen anything like it & was disappointed that they didn't notice the photographer wasting away next to it! haha. However I was assured by the barman that it did taste nice! :-)

I was rather touched by the bestman when he played the guitar & sang something he himself had written for the couple, it was very clear he thought a lot of Heidi & Naoya.

Ling & Ken's Maternity/Lifestyle photo shoot

I first met Ling & Ken a couple of months ago. Ken is also a photographer. Ling his gorgeous wife was pregnant & they asked me if I would do a maternity/lifestyle photo shoot of them.
We started out at the beach & then headed to the studio. Ling is a dream to photograph as she knows exactly what to do when asked, but I guess that comes with spending lots of time with Ken while he works.

Ling & Ken had a baby boy last week weighing 5lbs. Both baby & mum are doing well & I'm sure this little baby will be a well photographed little boy by his daddy.

Here are just a handful of images from their photo shoot.

Congratulations to you both!!! :-)

Fiona & Phil's Pre Wedding photo shoot

Fiona & Phil will be married this November at Matfen Hall. I'm hoping Matfen have their Christmas decs up by then as this will simply add to the splendour of this gorgeous venue.

Phil is a sports journalist & Fiona is a probation officer, I totally take my hat of to her as I think it takes great courage & strength.

Both living in York, they travelled up to Newcastle for their pre shoot. Unfortunately the weather was bad with heavy rain so we started our shoot in the studio until the rain got slightly lighter. Thankfully we managed to get out if only for a short while dodging the rain. I much prefer outdoor photography due to the fact there are some great locations with gorgeous colours & textures to use as backdrops. I look forward to their wedding in November.
