DIGITAL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR AWARDS 2008

It has just been announced that my image of Helen & Shaun on the pier has won The Digital Wedding Photographer of the Year Award 2008!! I am both Honoured & excited to receive the award. I'd like to thank Helen & Shaun for being such a fun couple & great to work with.

Post-Wed Shoot - Helen & Shaun

For those of you who were at the wedding you will remember the rain!!!! Well we had the post shoot booked for August which is always a good month weather wise. The sky was blue with not a cloud in sight......then........3 hours before the shoot the sky turned black & the heavens opened, there was hail stones the size of pound coins, traffic stopped as it was so bad!!!!
Thankfully the sky cleared & we got some great images. I'd like to thank Helen & Shaun for the shoot, they were both great & so easy to photograph. Here are just a few of the images from the shoot.

The Wedding of Helen Gordon & Shaun Wilson

Helen & Shaun were married on Saturday 21st June. Helen a nurse at North Tyneside hospital & Shaun an engineer living most of the week in Paris both met whilst Shaun's Mum was in hospital under Helen's care. Shaun fell head over heels for Helen and plucked up the courage to ask Helen for a date. They are such a fun loving couple to be around. Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side that day, however that didn't faze them. Lets hope we have better weather for the post-wed shoot. A big Hi to Allan Helen's Dad & to Allan Shaun's brother who both made me laugh & cry with their speeches.

The shoot took place a few months ago but I have been stuck with a very slow internet connection for some time now so better late than never is all I can say on the matter.

We were up at the crack of dawn to catch some nice light and very few dog walkers on Tynemouth beach, after moving on to St Mary's then Jesmond dene. Here are just a few of the images from their pre-wed shoot. Enjoy!
