Hazel & Pete's Post Wedding shoot - Lake District

Hazel originally from the Lake District & Pete from Carlisle, what better place to head for their post shoot than west!

We left sunny Newcastle & headed west to the Lake District. A couple of hours later arrived along with heavy storm clouds & rain! After some lunch & a bit scout about for ideal locations to shoot, the sun came out but we could see this wasn't going to last very long & so quickly got to the first location when the rain came down. Thankfully it was very windy & the rain passed quite quickly.

With the shots captured we headed off to the next location & again it rained & we had to sit it out! The entire day was heavy rain then glorious sun on & off.

We headed down to the pier at sunset which was the real shot I wanted, however due to the clouds there was no sunset, although there were some great stormy clouds with some light. Personally I now think the stormy sky makes for a better image than the sunset would have been.

Here are some of the images from their shoot.

Emily & Michael's Post shoot

Emily has dreamt of having the perfect wedding since being a little girl & that she certainly did have up at Doxford Hall in July. Although we got some stunning images of her & Michael on their wedding day she opted for a post shoot to be taken at some striking locations where she has great childhood memories.

We travelled up past Alnwick into the hills, deep into Northumberlands beautiful countryside with spectacular views. The weather was fab although slightly windy.

We decided to stop for lunch & got some strange looks from some people as expected, it's not everyday you see a bride & groom walk into a cafe for a coffee & a snack, it was quite funny.

Here are some of my favourites from their shoot, stay tuned to see more of the lovely Emily "Trashing the Dress".

Helen & Mark's Post Wedding Photo Shoot

Here are just a few of my favourite's from Helen & Mark's Post Wedding shoot. We had a mini heat wave & the weather was great, which made a nice change from the weather on their wedding day. We had quite an audience at one point but that didn't seem to bother them too much. Thanks guys you were fab!!!

Abbie & Lee's Post-Wedding Shoot

A huge thank you to Jill & Richard for the use of their fabulous farm. Weather wise we had a great day, everywhere else in the country seemed to have rain but it stayed sunny where we were. The farm had so much variety to offer. The couple were both great & got right into the shoot straight away, with Abbie & her gorgeous smile & Lee with his "Blue Steel" look!!! Even Sam the pit bull seemed to have fun whilst peeing on my foot (good job I was wearing my wellies). Here are just a few of the images from the shoot. Thanks to Abbie & Lee for being so great & again to Jill & Richard.

Post-Wed Shoot - Helen & Shaun

For those of you who were at the wedding you will remember the rain!!!! Well we had the post shoot booked for August which is always a good month weather wise. The sky was blue with not a cloud in sight......then........3 hours before the shoot the sky turned black & the heavens opened, there was hail stones the size of pound coins, traffic stopped as it was so bad!!!!
Thankfully the sky cleared & we got some great images. I'd like to thank Helen & Shaun for the shoot, they were both great & so easy to photograph. Here are just a few of the images from the shoot.

Post-wed shoot - Laura & David

Laura & David are two of the nicest people you could ever meet, and so easy to photograph. They were married in August in a fab castle in Northumberland. They managed to get a few weeks together before David (a Sergeant for the Royal Marines) had to go to war in Afghanistan. Meanwhile Laura is keeping herself very busy with her new business Evolutionary Fitness. These shots were taken on the post-wed shoot at various locations. Thankfully the weather stayed good that day. Laura & I managed to get quite an audience at one of the locations but this didn't faze Laura in the slightest, she was an absolute star that day. I'd like to thank Laura & David for the shoot & wish Laura good luck with her new business venture, and with a safe & speedy return home for David.
