Kodak National Wedding & Portrait Awards 2008
After some persuasion from my husband & print lab I decided to enter the Kodak Wedding awards 2008 with this image. The awards ceremony was held by the MPA at the Hilton, Newcastle & was a very lavish occasion (the photography equivalent to the oscars)! There were ten finalists in the wedding category chosen from entrants around the UK. Although I didn't win I was one of the ten finalists!!

This is a photograph that captures a brief moment in time. A moment that myself and my wife will look back on for many years to come with great memories. What it doesn,t show is the hard work, professionalism, dedication and persistence to get the shot she wanted. Thanks you so much. Lots of love , Shaun and Helen.x
