Nicole Trashes the Dress - LONDON

This was my second time working with Nicole only this time we hit the streets of London! I don't think it matters what time of year it is in London, it is always packed with tourist, however this time round it seemed even busier than usual.

Combine a gorgeous girl with an exceptionally beautiful dress & you have any photographers dream come true! This dress was made for Nicole, she just looks adorable in it!

After a day around London we headed up to Primrose Hill for some shots at dusk, I didn't realize just how busy it would be up there, but this seems like the perfect place to go to watch the sunset & see the city lights.

Nicole is a very talented make up artist & I will be meeting up with her again next month when she travels up from London to do the make up of some girls who I'll be photographing for a boudoir shoot.

Here are some of my favourites from Nicole's Trash the Dress in London.

Boo's 1st birthday

This last year has flown by & it seems like just yesterday when Heidi was born, but here we are a year later celebrating her 1st birthday. She is not like her sisters when it comes to being photographed & usually turns away or grabs my camera so here are just a few I managed to sneak while she played yesterday on her birthday.

The Wedding of Amy & Andrew - Matfen Hall

The wedding was held at the gorgeous Matfen Hall. Sadly though the weather wasn't good, it was a dark, wet & windy day. Still this didn't dampen their spirits & the day flowed perfectly.

Right on cue as they sat down to the wedding breakfast the clouds cleared leaving a deep blue sky & then bang on cue again when they had finished it rained.

The evening reception was split with a casino in the great hall & a disco downstairs in the basement. As you can imagine the casino was a great hit with the the guys.

Amy & Andrew left for bonny Scotland for their honeymoon & I hope the weather was a bit kinder for them.

Here are some of the images from their day.

Halloweena

Yes I said Halloweena!!! Halloween has been renamed in our house thanks to my 2yr old daughter Grace, who believes that Halloweena (a fairy princess) comes on this day bringing lots of sweets & fun to our street.

This was also our first year to have a pumpkin. When I was a kid we just had turnips, but now it seems the kids all want pumpkins. I recall mum's hands being so sore after carving my turnip so I certainly wasn't looking forward to carving a pumpkin!!!! I drew the face on our pumpkin & passed the buck to my husband. I now know why turnips are out & pumpkins are in, THEY ARE HOLLOW !!!! The only carving needed was the face!

With Jess my eldest already out trick or treating & Grace all ready (dressed as a pumpkin) to go out, we had our first group of kids knocking the door. Quick I said to Grace, there are some trick or treaters at the door, as I got to the porch I quickly turned to tell her it was just a delivery man. There were 2 boys stood in screen masks & black cloaks, enough to terrify an adult never mind a 2yr old ready to experience her very first halloween!
